You Are Special

You are special and it’s time for you to start believing it. Don’t be down because you think look different. Don’t be down because of the negative feelings you have about yourself. God loves you. He want you to know how special you are to him. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” God thought so much of you that he created you to be a visual representation of him.

You have to change the negative feelings about yourself. There are more good things about you than negative things. You have to immediately cast down, those negative thoughts when they enter your mind. Don’t be in bondage to your past mistakes. You can’t change the past. Let those thoughts of the past go. Don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t accept negative words from others about you. Don’t speak those negative thoughts out loud. Anytime you have a negative thought speak something positive about yourself. Speak good things out loud so that your spirit can hear them. More so speak the word of God outloud. You don’t have to allow whatever negative feelings you have, become your reality. Romans 12:3 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” God is letting you know that you don’t have to accept the standards of the world. You can change the way you think by discerning his will will for you. You have to decide everyday and each moment to have positive thoughts. God thinks highly of you. He wants your thoughts to be peaceful, loving and kind.

You were created in his image. You are unique. It’s okay to stand out and be different. As a child of God, you were created to be the light. Develop a relationship with God. Once you enter into a relationship with him, you’ll learn about who you are in him. His word will began to change your thoughts about yourself. You will be sure of yourself. You will love yourself. You will be more patient with yourself. You won’t count yourself out. You will know you are qualified. You will know how beautiful you are. You will know how handsome you are. You will be confident. You will be happy. You will be kind to yourself. You will be filled with joy. You will have peace. You will be thankful. You will praise him because he made you. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” You will know what God thinks of you. You are his treasure. You will know without any doubt that you are special.

Cast down negative thoughts about yourself. Read your Bible and learn what God thinks of you. Chin up because you are a child of God. Choose to believe the best of yourself. God created you to look like him. You are loved. Be the light. God is for you. May God bless and keep you.
