God is the Healer

Healing for some of us can mean many different things. Some of us need healing from emotional abuse, physical abuse, sickness in our bodies and mental illnesses. We all pray and ask God to heal us but do we really believe that he can? Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe.” Jesus is simply saying believe without any doubt and it shall come to pass.

A lot of us are dealing with emotional problems. We feel depressed, our mental health is failing us, worthless, heartbroken, lost and damaged from certain relationships. Psalm 147:3 tells us that “God healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” He’s there to bind up every emotional and mental illness wound that we have. God is the healer. We need only to believe and know that he is “the great I am.” It is God that lifts our heavy hearts. It is God that heal our bodies when we believe and trust him. James 5:14-15 “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Jesus: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins they shall be forgiven him.” God is letting us know that its ok to ask for prayer. We don’t have to go through sickness alone. There are people that will pray with and for us. He also let’s us know that, he’s a forgiving God full of grace and mercy. There’s no other like him. He’s marvelous. He’s wonderful. He’s called the way maker. He works miracles when we don’t see a way. He’s the strong tower when we need emotional support. He’s always there for us. So we should take the time and say God, I thank you and bless your holy name.

No matter what we may face, we do have a mighty God. Our God heals us. There’s nothing to hard for him to fix. Believe on Jesus and watch him turn things around on your behalf. Be the light. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.
