Most of us want to share our life with someone. A lot of us pick the wrong person because of personal reasons or our needs at the moment. We end up more miserable than we were before the relationship started. Choosing the wrong person complicates and compromises our future relationships. God doesn’t want us to be unhappy. He has someone just for us. If we allow God to pick our partner, our lives will overflow with God’s plan and purpose. With God we will no longer become bound to someone who doesn’t fit into our purpose.

A purpose partner from God will be a Godly person. God will have purpose for your union with them. God will testify of your coming together with them. They will seek God’s approval. They will listen to God. They will follow his instructions. They will come with peace. They will be your friend. They will be full of his holy spirit. They will be concerned about the things that concern you. They will help you. They come with healing. They come with blessings. They will encourage you in God. They will support you. Their life will line up with your life. There will be consistency with them. There will be an uplifting in your spirit because of God working through them. They will sincerely pray for and with you. They will bear good fruit. They will make you want to be closer to God. They will worship God with you. They will not be confused about you. They will receive you. There will be sustainability with them. Your union will be deeper than your emotions. You don’t have to force anyone that is God ordained for you. Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God knows exactly who to bless us with. He wants us to have what is best for us. The person God has for us, will add blessings to our lives. His thoughts towards us are of peace and an expected end. Our union should bring glory, honor and praise to God.

While we’re expecting God to bless us with our purpose partner. We should submit our will to God. We should be working on being a purpose partner. We should be focused on God. We should be working in our ministry for God. We should have a prayer life with him. We should seek God with our whole heart. We should be in alignment with God’s plan for our lives. Our lives should magnify the Lord, because he is just that good. We should bear good fruit. While we’re busy working and serving God, he’s busy working through us. God’s favor on us will release our blessings over every area in our lives. James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” God is our father and his gifts are far better than anything we could ever choose. Our God given person will be one of his best gifts, from his many treasures for us. God only gives his children the best. God will give us discernment and insight to recognize our purpose partner. When we follow God’s will for our life, we will be able to discern and know what he gives us. We only want who God has for us. God will do exactly what he said concerning us. We should make room in our hearts and lives to receive his best.

God’s love comes through our relationships with others. We need to allow him to choose for us. He gives us discernment. He always gives us his best treasures. Get in his word and line up with his will for us. Be the purpose partner that we want to have. Be the light. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.

Prayer is our direct line to God. When we pray we don’t have to use elaborate words. We don’t have to pray long or make our prayers drawn out. We don’t have to repeat our prayers. We must know that even our tears are prayers to God. If our prayers are sincere and from the heart, God will hear us. He will answer.

Our prayers are how we communicate with God. We can go to him about anything. God loves hearing from his children. He wants us to talk to him. Before we talk to God, we should always come before him humble. We should block out all distractions. We should always ask for forgiveness so that our hearts are upright with him. James 5:16 says, “Therefore, confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” We should worship and love on God before we start asking things of him. We should honor and reverence him. He is I Am. When praying we should always believe God. Trust in his word. If it’s in his word and will for us, then it’s already ours.

We have to know that God is our source. We have to have faith when we pray. We need to be focused, real with God and to the point. Mark 11:4 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” That means we can’t pray and worry. Don’t doubt God for the things you’ve asked him to do. Completely surrender your needs and wants to him. Philippians 4:6 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” God knows our needs before we know them. He knows exactly what, how, when and where to bless us. Stop wishing and move, live and behave like your prayers are already answered. Listen to God when he gives instructions and obey him. Be thankful and grateful for all he has done for you.

Go to God first. Believe God is working things out for us. Trust God all the way through. Move like your prayers answered. Be real and honest with God. Pray with confidence. He will answer. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.

There are 24 hours in a day. For some of us that isn’t enough time. Especially when we need something right away. A lot of us are impatient when it comes to waiting. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” If we’re patient during our waiting season God is going to bless us beyond measure. God’s timing is always good for us.

When we’re in our waiting season; it’s hard for us to focus on anything outside of what we want or need in that season. Whether we’ve been praying for our financial needs, love, marriage, job, house, children, purpose, health and our way in life. When things take a long time to happen it causes us to give up or lose hope. God wants us to be patient and tarry. To tarry is to wait in expectation for the things we’ve been praying for. Numbers 22:19 says, “Now therefore, I pray you tarry, ye also here this night, that I may know what the Lord will say unto me more.” God speaks to us and gives instructions while we wait. He teaches us what to say and do during our season of waiting on him. God’s word lets us know that he’ll withhold no good thing from us. It’s ok to wait on God. His timing is his perfect will concerning us.

While we’re waiting we can pray for others, help others and focus on becoming better a person. Don’t be selfish by only thinking of yourself. When we sow seeds into others it releases our blessings. We can also increase our faith in God by reading our bible more often. We can fast for ourselves or on the behalf of others. We can be hopeful. Psalms 130:5 says, “I wait for Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word I hope.” Be cheerful and happy because it’s all working out in our favor. Be watchful and allow God to do it for us. Commit ourselves and our works unto God. Remember while we’re working God is also working. His timing is perfect for us.

Remember it’s ok to wait. Be patient. Don’t rush. Let God work it out for you because whatever he starts he completes it. His ways are good for us. Don’t be discouraged. God’s timing is always on time. God is an on time God. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.

We’ve all experienced times when we feel like there’s no one we can trust. We often feel like we can’t trust anyone with our good or bad news. We may not be able to trust man for anything but we can but we can certainly trust God for everything. There are so many blessings/answers that comes with trusting God.

God is not like man. (Thank you God) He is the ONE we can always trust. No matter how bad our situation looks. Things could be falling apart around us. We could be struggling with our health. We could be worried about how we’re going to pay our bills. We could be stressed about how we’re going to provide for our family. We could be stuck on a decision we need to make. We could be searching for guidance in our lives. “I’m here to let y’all know that God is our help and provider.” When we go through difficult or uncertain times, we have a God we can pray too. Psalm 37:3 tells us to “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so thou shalt dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.” God telling us that if we’re willing to trust him then he’ll supply all of our needs. If we go to him in prayer, follow his instructions; he’ll guide us on what to do in our situation. Psalm 37:5 says, “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” God answers prayers. He doesn’t want us to suffer but to live a good life.

By committing our ways to him, he shall deliver us. A commitment of our ways to God is life changing. Once we make a commitment of our lives to God; we can no longer look at things with our natural eyes. We learn that trusting ourselves to fix things can sometimes make them worse. We can’t trust God and use human logic. Proverbs 3:5 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and do not lean on your own understanding.” We have to see through our spiritual eyes. If we’re always depending on our human logic to solve things; then we’ll never see the full potential of God in our lives. Trusting God is our faith being released.

One thing we know for sure is that we can always trust God. We should commit our ways to him. We don’t have to worry about anything because he’s our provider. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.

We all have moments when we know without any doubt God is near. We also have moments where we question whether God is near us. Then there’s moments when we don’t feel God is near, these moments often coincide with something negative in our lives. When we feel like God is nowhere to be found, we can always find him in his word.

Trials come and sometimes they’re devastating to us. They leave us hurt, angry, depressed and sad. Those moments when we feel broken hearted are moments that God is closer than ever before. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the Brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” God saves us because he loves us so much. All we have to do is pray and ask him for help. Once we’ve done this our next step is to believe and have faith that he hears us. Psalms 145:18 say, “The Lord he is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Meaning to seek and look for God with our whole heart. He is our salvation from EVERYTHING that bounds and weigh us down. God is near.

Bad things don’t always mean that we’ve done something wrong. Sometimes negative things happen and we have no control over them. They don’t mean that God doesn’t love us or that he’s left us alone. John 14:18 says, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” The comforter is a gift that came from God after the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. As believers we have the assurance that we are not alone because of the holy spirit. When God said that he would not leave us comfortless, he meant that he would send his Holy Spirit to comfort us through all things. 2 Corinthians 13:14 says, “The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” The Holy Spirit is a sure sign that God is always with us. God is near.

Never fret because we are not alone. No matter what things look like, we have a father in heaven who will never leave us nor forsake us. If you want the gift of the Holy Spirit, all you have to do is repent, invite Jesus into your heart and seek God for the Holy Spirit. Remember God never leaves us to face a situation alone, he goes before us, he walks beside us, he walks behind us because God is near. God is for us. May God bless and keep you.

We don’t realize how powerful our thoughts and words are. Most of the time we speak what we think. Sometimes our words are a reflection of what we’re dealing with in our lives. Whether we’re experiencing happiness, sadness, loneliness, depression, joy, or peace. Our thoughts and words are strong and they affect our daily lives. But we need not fear; because God’s word teaches us what to think and speak concerning our lives.

Guard your thoughts and be careful of where your mind wanders. Our thoughts have a way of magnifying our feelings. Sometimes our thoughts lead us to think things we shouldn’t be thinking. If our minds are weighted down there is no way we can focus on God. Colossians 3:2 says, “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the Earth.” We use our minds to serve God. Most of the negative things we think on, are beneath us. They serve no good purpose in our lives. God tells us, if we focus on him we don’t have to be sad, depressed, angry or hurt. If we focus on our high place, which is in God he’ll keep our mind in perfect peace. There is a peace that only God can provide. Isiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.” We can trust God with our thoughts, he’ll never fail us.

God gave us the power to speak over our lives. When we wake up in the morning we have the right to declare our day to be blessed and prosperous. When we look in the mirror we should tell ourselves I am blessed, I am healed, I am delivered, I am prosperous, I am healthy, I am loved, I am happy, I am beautiful, I am handsome, I am an overcomer, I have faith, everything I touch is blessed, everything I do is blessed, I have a sound mind, I have peace, I have hope, I will not be defeated, I will not give up, I shall live and not die. Our words should be uplifting and encouraging towards ourselves. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” God lets us know that we have the power to speak over our lives.

We are children of God. Therefore we should behave as such. We have the the God given authority to speak and think ALL the blessings of God into our lives. Our thoughts and words should line up with his word. We are the light. May God bless and keep you.

Love and being loved is something we all desire. It can be easy for some and hard for others. Most of the time we think love is just a feeling or being nice to someone. It’s more than a feeling or kind actions. God is the best example of love. John 3:16 says, “For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That verse is so profound in a way that it shows the emotion of God. He loves us with a love like no other.

God is love and he wants us to love like him. “I’m not talking about sacrifice your child/children.” To love like God is to let your light shine. His love will cause you to be compassionate, kind, honest, obedient to him, fearless, hopeful and confident in his word. We’ll treat others right no matter how they look, meaning their skin color, lifestyle or decisions they make. Jeremiah 31:1 says, The Lord have appeared of old until me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with love and kindness have I drawn thee.” By allowing his love to reign in our hearts we show people who God is everyday. God draws us closer to him by showing and teaching us how to love others. God love doesn’t run out for us. It is an everlasting flow.

If we don’t know how to love, God teaches us through his son, Jesus. All we have to do repent and invite Jesus into our hearts. We have to be willing to change, have a made up mind, determined to live and love like him. If we allow Jesus into our lives we’ll experience a love like never before. To be a follower of Jesus is to live as, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it teaches us, “Love is patient and is kind, love envieth not, love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. This verse should always be carried in our hearts especially when we look upon others. Everyday we wake up, we should ask God to let his love shine through us. We should always be the light that leads people to him, so they can experience his love.

God’s love is all around us. We’re his children and we have full access to him and his love. Ask God for wisdom and understanding so that you can learn/love as him. Be an overflowing vessel for God. Be his instrument so that he may use you to help those in need. May God bless and keep you.

Forgiveness is sometimes hard for us to do. Especially if we feel like someone has offended us or our family. It’s not easy to ask for forgiveness and forgive ourselves at times. Let’s take a look at ways we can forgive and ask for forgiveness. God’s word is full of wisdom.

We’ve all done things that we need to be forgiven of. We sometimes say or do mean things to others. We should recognize our wrong doings and apologize immediately. Never wait to correct a problem. Waiting causes conflict and resentment to settle in the hearts of those we offend. Pray and ask God for the right words to say. We should always think before we act on our thoughts. Ask ourselves is this the right thing for me to do? What would Jesus do? God’s word is full of teachings on how to treat one another. Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” We should strive to be kind and loving to others. Always be forgiving because God forgives us for wrong doings.

We all experience those times that we can’t seem to forgive ourselves. This makes us miserable, depressed and angry. Being unforgiving towards ourselves stems from living in our past, negative memories and thoughts of ways we’ve could’ve did something different. We must remember we’re not perfect and we make mistakes. Philippians 3:13-14 says, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus.” God doesn’t want us to live in the negative thoughts of our minds. He wants us to have compassion towards ourselves. We can’t change the past but with God we have a better present/future. He lets us know to press and reach for our mark in him. Our mark in God is forgiving, forgiveness, love, kindness, compassion, healing, his will for our lives, truthfulness and helping others.

We don’t have to live a life of unforgiveness. We can pray and ask God to give us a forgiving heart like him. He answers prayers. God always forgives all of our sins as we forgive others. At all times he is forgiving and full of grace. Let’s work to be more like Jesus and change the world around us. May God bless and keep you.

Fear is something that we all go through. Whether it’s fear for our family, health, loneliness, hopelessness, job or finances. It robs us of our peace, joy, hope and love. 1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” God wants us to know that he loves us. His love for us will take away all of our fears.

Living in fear controls our lives. It stops us from focusing on God. When we’re afraid its hard for us to hear from God. We don’t have to be afraid because God goes before us. Exodus 23:20 says “Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.” God lets us know that he makes our paths safe for us. We don’t have to be scared because God is for us. He provides our safe place.

God tells us that no matter what is going on around us, do not be afraid. Psalm 91:5-7 says “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6) Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness nor for the destruction that wasteth at Noonday. 7) A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand but it shall not come nigh thee.” God protects us through out the day. We don’t have to be fearful during any time of morning, day or night. We can rest in the knowledge that God is fighting our battles.

We should always remember “Do not be afraid, God is with us.” Wherever he leads us, he’s going to protect us. Leave your fears behind and allow yourselves to be made perfect in God’s love. May God bless and keep you.

Life can be overwhelming at times. We all go through difficult times. It’s hard to have peace if we’re worried/anxious about our health, bills, family or just trying to make it through the day. There is hope for us to have peace through all of our trials. If we pray and seek God about our problems, he’ll answer us. Psalms 34:4 says “I sought the lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” That lets us know that God is for us. He will help us.

Worry and anxiety takes our lives out of focus. Negative thoughts cause us to worry. Fear cause us to be anxious. These things can take our mind off of God. They also block us from being thankful for our blessings. 1 Peter 5:7 says “Cast all of your cares on him because he cares for you.” God cares for us and he doesn’t want us to worry. We can turn to God and trust him for all of our needs.

Anxiousness makes us worry about things that haven’t happened. Our worries seem bigger in our minds if that’s all we’re focused on. During the times we feel overwhelmed, we should remember, there’s no problem we face that’s too big for God. Psalms 55: 16 says “As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.” We can call on God anytime, he will hear us. He’s always there to listen to us no matter the time of day/night. He will hear us.

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things.” Our minds should be focused on the good things, so there is no room for worry or anxiety. When we think on the good in our lives we become thankful. By doing so we allow God’s peace to live in our hearts.

“Is there anything to hard for God?” The answer is, NO. God will lift any burden that we carry. He is our way maker, healer, hope and strong tower. We don’t have to be afraid. He’s always here for us. We don’t have to be overtaken by worried or anxiousness. We have a God that cares about our lives. Keep your head up and focus on your blessings. Trust God and you will win every battle you face. Be encouraged and thankful. May God bless and keep you.
