Stand firm in God’s Word

The word of God is powerful. His words are true. We can stand firm in his words. We can trust in his words. Isaiah 55:11 tells us, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” We can trust that whatever God says, he’ll do it. God’s word is life changing. It gives us the strength to stand firm.

When we believe God’s word, it gives us the strength to stand firm. His word gives us positive expectations. We can look forward to what God is doing for us. His words give us confidence, courage, victory, and a firm foundation to stand on. We have hope to get through our day. Matthew 4:4 states, “But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” His word alone gives us life, spiritual food, peace, guidance, and encouragement. God’s word is a light. It guides us in all things right and holy. Paslm 119:105 states, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Always seek and read his word for guidance. His word leads us down a prosperous path in him. His word protects us. Proverbs 30:5 tells us, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.” God loves us and doesn’t want us without his protection.

God’s word is forever. What he says he’s going to do. No matter what we face, we can always depend on him. God’s word is for us. Be the light. May God bless and keep you.
